YAM,

Thank you so much for sharing this!

Can you please shed some light regarding what are the ‘highest points’ in this world?

I am referring to “Without going to the final spiritual sphere there will be further triumph before the highest points are reached, unless those highest points are reached in this world and on this earth by the general rules of the Ismaili faith beginning with kindness, gentleness, etc. and going up to highest love of union with Imam”

It may be somewhat difficult to know exactly what the Im had in mind, but in addition to the concept of attaining Ilm al-Yaqin, Ayn al-Yaqin and Ḥaqq al-Yaqin, I think we can add to that the Ismaili understanding of ascending the ranks of gnosis in the sense of the hudud-i din, with greater clarity, conviction and certainty the higher one ascends.

This is among one of my most favourite quotes. Imam Sultan Mohammed Shah provides such a precious perspective. I am always uplifted after reading that quote regardless of any mundane challenges that I may be experiencing in my life!

How does one convert to Ismailism? I have been trying to figure this out for years but no one has given me a sufficient answer. Is there a process to it ? I know that in Sunni Islam, one simply goes to the masjid and takes the shahadah. In other words, is there a way that a non-Ismaili can become an Ismaili ? How does one given allegiance to the Imam of the Time? Also, are there specific requirements depending upon whether the prospective convert is a Tayyibi, Twelver Shia, Sunni, Catholic , Eastern Orthodox, Jew, etc ?

It was my destiny that I would become Ismaili and adopt the name Alymuhammad. I found the confirmation in Nadi astrology. It was predicted centuries ago by a saint from Tamil Nadu! It's absolute proof! The saint knew before I did!

I wasn't born Ismaili, but I took my bayah in August, and it feels like I've been reborn. Alhamdulillah.
